4 years of Winesday App
On March 1, 2026, Winesday App mobile application celebrates 4 years since its launch.
The first year was about launching, the second about consolidation and starting with the third it is about growth and innovation.
Over the years the app has been downloaded (iOS & Android) by wine enthusiasts interested in the latest news from the world of wine. We are talking about a niche application that is growing slowly but well stablished in the market. Thank you to everyone who believed in the application and downloaded it, as well as to the companies in the world of wine that chose to be present in it.
The app has put so far on the map pf Romania: 59 wineries, 19 accommodations, 24 restaurants, 31 wine shops, 17 wine bars, 48 wine event organizers and 4 wine course organizers (we will call them all "suppliers" in the following). There is still more work to be done to include these providers, but every day we work to enrich the app's portfolio and bring users new places where they can enjoy wine, wine events, special offers (on wine or events), as well as information, inspiration and education related to wine in articles.
The greatest satisfaction we have is that when we meet with wine lovers at various fairs or events and open the discussion about the application, most of them show us that they already have the application on their phone. It is a feeling of deep joy that we have when we discover that the application is already known and used.
The first 4 years of the application's existence have validated the concept, with over 3500 events added in 17 categories – developed following the feedback we had from users, over 400 articles published and over 200 suppliers from all categories.

What's new in 2025 & 2026
If last year's novelty was the development of the website attached to the application, www.winesdayapp.ro, 2025 and the beginning of 2026 brought numerous updates to the site regarding the interface of the first page, as well as the way locations, events, articles and routes are displayed. At the same time, improvements have been made to the icons used on the site, which are more nicely aligned, as well as to the displayed tags and filters, which are now also visible on the site, not only in the app. Improvements have also been made to the Reservations/Tickets section, with the buttons now displayed more prominently on the page.
The application remains the differentiating element, here users can follow the accounts of the companies displayed (wineries, accommodation units, restaurants, wine bars, etc.) and can also be notified whenever a new article, an Event or an Offer is published through Push Notifications.
Regarding the event categories, the beginning of 2026 brought the "Gourmet Courses" category, thus consolidating the development direction towards the gastronomy area. As wine goes very well with food, wine lovers being increasingly attracted to food & wine pairing events, we consider it appropriate that users of the app have access to both wine tastings & culinary delicacies, as well as to courses that teach them more about tastes and pairings.
What's next
In 2026, Winesday App continues its development on the map of Romania and in this regard, new wineries, accommodations, restaurants, wine bars, wine shops, course organizers and wine event organizers will be added.
The "Events" section will continue to develop, this year we will also focus on the "Special Offers" section, as well as on writing useful articles about wine and gastronomy. Wine goes very well with food and sometimes even better, so this year the focus will also be on wine and food pairings so that each of us can enrich our taste and have complete experiences.
In the coming period, there will be some updates to the application interface, but we will come back to this at the right time.
