La Mama - Ateneu

I started from an idea and a wish. I wanted to eat well, I wanted to eat in the city, with my friends. I worked all day, finding no time to go home, fed up with the same eternal fast food sandwiches. I dreamed of the days when steaming food on the table was waiting for me, warm and tasty. With very good ingredients in it. In my dreams we eat at my mother's.

That's how the idea was born. That's how "La Mama" was born. Out of necessity, out of longing and why not, out of hunger. Mom always puts very good food on the table. Mom doesn't mind I eat a lot. I always feel good about my mother. Because it's something else.

We started twenty-three years ago, on February 27, 1999, with an idea. We have tried to keep this idea intact, and even improve it day by day. Because just as I was most important to my mother when I came home for dinner, so you, our customers, are the most important!
