Gura Vadului, Nr. 472, Dealu Mare 107300, Romania

Budureasca vineyards are part of the famous Dealu Mare region (located in the Upper Subcarpathians) and cover an area of approximately 275 hectares - of which 250 hectares have been replanted, and 25 hectares of old vines have been preserved.

The area includes numerous hills and valleys, from the Teleajen River in the west to the Buzau River in the east. The hilly massif, with its southern positioning, is an ideal place for growing vines. The altitude on which the Budureasca vineyards stretch is between 175m and 400m. The conditions exceptionally favor the production of red grapes, but white grapes also enjoy favorable conditions for development, giving rise to very aromatic and fruity white wines.

The southern positioning, the long period of sunshine and the extremely rich soils, formed by chernozems and limestone, offer our crops properties that are almost impossible to find in other regions of the country. The temperate-continental climate, with numerous warm air currents coming from the Mediterranean area, also fully contributes to the perfect quality of the wines produced at Budureasca.

Budureasca Winery was inaugurated in the spring of 2013 and has an area of 2500 square meters, being one of the newest and largest wineries in the Dealu Mare region. The construction is buried on 3 of the sides, in order to fit perfectly in the landscape and, more importantly, to be able to benefit from an increased thermal control.
