White wines from Alto Adige - Italy (Bucuresti)
The month of June brings the right weather to taste some exceptional white wines. As we like to know wines from all over the world, this time we have chosen the Alto Adige area of Italy to be the subject of discussion in the next tasting.
On June 28th, 2023 we are waiting for you at the next tasting in the Winesday Specials series: "White wines from Alto Adige - Italy".
We are organizing this tasting together with Mihai Vasile and VinMagazin.ro and together we have chosen some wines from varieties representative of the Alto Adige (South Tyrol) region in Italy. The wines are all from the Kaltern winery and you can find them in Romania at VinMagazin.ro, the sole importer of this winery. Mihai will be with us at the event, so you will have the opportunity to learn directly from him more information about the winery and its wines.
This time we were joined at the event by the publishing house Baroque Books & Arts, which has been publishing books about wine in the "In Vino Veritas" collection for several years now. Thus, at the tasting on June 28th, you will have the opportunity to learn a few things about one of the recently published books and one of the people present will have the opportunity to go home with this book. All I can say now is that it is one of the books you need to read if you want to learn new things about wine. Come to the event and maybe you'll be the lucky one to go home with a wine book.

The wines chosen for tasting
All wines tonight are from Cantina Kaltern. This is one of the main wineries in the Alto Adige region and is named after the most famous town in the region. Its beginnings date back to 1900 and today it is a cooperative with 650 members and 450 hectares of vines.

- Pinot Grigio Soll
- Chardonnay Klassic
- Kerner Carned
- Sauvignon Blanc Klassic
- Sauvignon Blanc Quintessenz
- Moscato Giallo Klassic
- The maximum number of participants is limited to 20 people.
- The minimum number of participants to be able to carry out the tasting is 10 people.
- Reservation of confirmed and paid seats cannot be canceled less than 10 calendar days before the date of the event. Thus, the amounts paid will not be returned if the withdrawal is made less than 10 calendar days before the event (in this case the penalty is 100% of the amount paid).
- We reserve the right to make any changes necessary to ensure the safety of all participants as well as the conduct of the wine tasting in the best conditions.
The event is exclusively for people over 18 years old.
