Wines from South Africa (Bucuresti)
Known for many "new world" wines and especially for the Chenin Blanc variety and red blends, South Africa is one of the countries that offers outstanding wines. After the increased interest in South African wine tasting last year, I promised to come back with a new edition. I put things in order and I chose new wines (which were not included in the 2023 tasting), but also 2 new vintages in the case of some wines from the list we had at that time.
So, on April 10th, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. we are inviting you at Grapes The Wine Bar to try 5 wines from South Africa: 1 sparkling wine, 1 white wine and 3 red wines.
The National Day of South Africa is on April 27th, so we invite you to celebrate it in advance with tasty wines that you can find in Romania.

Location: Grapes – The Wine Bar, Bulevardul Mărășești 2B, Bucharest (near Piața Unirii metro and Carol Park).
Time schedule:
18:30 – 19:00 arrival of participants
19:00 – 21:00 tasting of 5 South African wines accompanied by appetisers
21:00 – 21:30 networking

- The maximum number of participants is limited to 20 people.
- The minimum number of participants to be able to carry out the tasting is 10 people.
- Reservation of confirmed and paid seats cannot be canceled less than 7 calendar days before the date of the event. Thus, the amounts paid will not be returned if the withdrawal is made less than 7 calendar days before the event (in this case the penalty is 100% of the amount paid).
- We reserve the right to make any necessary changes to ensure the safety of all participants as well as the conduct of the wine tasting in the best conditions.
The event is exclusively for people over 18 years old.
