VINARIUM is the largest international competition in Central and Eastern Europe.

This year 1346 samples were entered by 228 operators (producers, importers, representatives of producers) from 22 countries. 39.82% of the total entered samples were from outside Romania – the organizing country.

Still wines, effervescent wines and distilled wines based on grapes and wine (11 samples) were entered into the competition.

The total number of judges was 47, coming from 20 countries: Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Netherlands.

The judging took place with 8 commissions of 5 judges/commission.
