Iulian Grigorescu - the man, WineFisto - the character. Born in Braila in the month of harvest, I was introduced to wine in my family, a family with a 4-generation tradition in grape growing and wine production. Later, through a happy coincidence, I discovered exceptional wines from the beginnings of modern winemaking in Romania. I fell in love with wine so much that I started cultivating and educating my own tastes by attending a series of specialized schools and courses and eventually transforming my passion into a profession. I have traveled an interesting path combining passion with business, building an exclusive wine distribution for the hospitality industry, then building and running a restaurant with high standards where all the knowledge acquired during the courses I attended was put into practice, and now, accepting a new challenge: managing a liquor store. In parallel, I followed a series of courses and became an authorized taster, ADAR member, FIJEV member, WSET graduate, master's student at USAMV Bucharest in "Performing Technologies, Marketing and Wine Management", olive oil taster, sommelier and trainer; organizer of one of the largest wine competitions in Romania for 7 editions, organizer of the only wine fair in Braila, communicator, wine educator and juror in national and international wine competitions. After 10 years of studying, promoting and tasting wine with passion, I sign, along with 8 other wine bloggers and communicators, the bilingual guide "Winelovers' Guide into Romanian Romanian Treasures". A curious gourmet, I combine my passion for wine with that for food and organize oeno-gastronomic events. All this journey, all this work and accumulated experience, brought me here - the moment when personal "branding" naturally makes its appearance. Why “WineFisto”? I’ll let you philosophize. The “fight” cry and the personal signature: “Let’s kick some corks!!!” Services offered: 1. Private wine tastings; 2. Introduction courses in the art of wine tasting; 3. “Sommelier” training courses for amateurs and professionals; 4. Oeno-gastronomic events; 5. HoReCa consultancy

Discover an unusual place, called the Museum of Romanian Records® This place was born from the need to promote Bucharest and Romania, for and by its people. Here we offer you the opportunity to discover forgotten parts of human history which allow us to see the ingenuity of the human mind, through the different levels of its evolution and for the different aspects of life, from practical things, to pleasure and, of course, art. The Museum of Romanian Records houses several collections, among which we mention here the Corkscrew Collection. This is proof that people really tried to have fun. Since obtaining the record in 2015 the number has continued to grow and the collection now includes over 30,000 corkscrews. There are many things that can be learned from a simple visit to the collection. Here it can be found that the purpose of the corkscrew was not only to open wine bottles, but also perfume bottles, medicine bottles, small ink pens or even beer or mineral water bottles, when these too were sealed with a cork of cork. Important: between 23.12.2024 - 12.01.2025 the museum will be closed.
