Single Grape: Garnacha (București)
For the beginning of spring I chose "Garnacha" grape to continue the "Single Grape" tasting series started 2 years ago.
Garnacha (Spanish)/Grenache (French) is one and the same grape variety, originating in Spain. It is also grown with great success in France and Sardinia (where it is called "Cannonau") and is a late ripening grape that needs a warmer and drier climate.
On March 8th, 2023 at 18:30 I invite you at Grapes - The Wine Bar to try 6 wines from the Garnacha/Grenache variety, as well as a sparkling wine from Spain (cava).

This time Baroque Books & Arts publishing house has joined our event. They are publishing books about wine in their "In Vino Veritas" collection for several years and at the tasting on March 8th, you will have the opportunity to learn a few things about one of their recently published books and one of the people present will go home with this book. Come to the event and maybe you will be the lucky one!

Time: 18:30 – 21:30
Location: Grapes – The Wine Bar, Bulevardul Mărășești 2B, Bucharest (near Piața Unirii metro and Carol Park).
Time schedule:
18:30 – 19:00 arrival of participants
19:00 – 21:00 tasting of 6 wines + 1 sparkling wine accompanied by cheese platters and tapas
21:00 – 21:30 networking
Price: 270* lei/person
*those who have attended at least 4 Winesday Specials tastings have a special rate on each tasting from the 5th onwards – this time they receive a 5% discount applicable to the rate above.
