Sauvignon Blanc from France, Italy and New Zealand (Bucuresti)

Update 30.05.2023: registrations have ended. Stay tuned for when we announce the next tasting.

The month of June begins with a special tasting of Sauvignon Blanc from 3 different countries: France, Italy and New Zealand. What do you say, start the summer with some tasty wines?

For the beginning of summer, we chose the Sauvignon Blanc variety because it is a grape that adapts well to several wine regions of the world, produces tasty wines and is very suitable for summer. So, this summer we cool off with some fresh wines from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety and end the evening with more complex wines.

Thus, on June 7th, 2023 at 6:30 p.m., let's meet  at Grapes - The Wine Bar to try 5 Sauvignon Blanc wines, as well as a surprise welcome drink.

We are organizing this event together with Cosmin Udrea and Wine Focus, the importers of the wines that will be presented in the tasting. Cosmin will be with us at the tasting to tell us more about the producers of these wines and, of course, about the wines.

In addition, this time we were joined at the event by the publishing house Baroque Books & Arts, which has been publishing books about wine in the "In Vino Veritas" collection for several years now. Thus, at the tasting on June 7th, you will have the opportunity to learn a few things about one of the recently published books and one of the people present will have the opportunity to go home with this book. All I can say now is that it is one of the books you need to read if you want to learn new things about wine. Come to the event and maybe you'll be the lucky one to go home with a wine book.
