Red Blends of Romania (București)

Red Blends of Romania (București)

On May 11th 2022, I invite you to a new wine tasting from Winesday Specials series.

It's called "Red Blends of Romania", a tasting with 5 Romanian red blends.

For this tasting I took into account 3 wine-growing regions in Romania and several red wines. The blends are from 3 or more grape varieties and to discover your favourite wine among the 5 presented, I will hide the labels for the beginning.

Thus, this is a blind tasting and the blends presented (at least some of them) will be comparable: the same grape varieties and the same year of production.

The host of the event is Winestone Victoriei 37, the restaurant located on the ground floor of Novotel Hotel on Calea Victoriei. And because at all the events I organized here the food was always praised, this time Chef Dumitru Bucșa prepared a special menu suitable for red wines, both for the starters and for the main courses.

18:30 - 19:00 arrival of participants
19:00 - 21:30 tasting of 5 wines accompanied by appetizer & main course
21:30 - 22:00 networking

Price: 240 * lei / person
* Those who have participated in at least 4 Winesday Specials tastings have a special rate for each tasting starting with the fifth - this time they receive a 5% discount applicable to the above rate

The price includes:
  • access to the tasting of 5 red blends
  • water, bread
  • appetizer & main course
Reservations are made within the limit of 20 places available on this form until May 6th (we will close the registrations earlier if the event is sold out before this date and we will announce this). The confirmation of participation is made after the payment of the participation fee.

The event is organized by Winesday in partnership with Winestone.

See you there!
