The map presented and the wines chosen for tasting

For this event we chose to tell you about a special map of Italy and you will find the details and the whole story on the spot, at the event.

The wines presented in the tasting are wines from Italy, made from local varieties, but also from an international variety, Cabernet Franc. The wines are from two wineries, Tamellini and Tenuta Luisa and you will find out their story at the tasting.

And, because I usually come to most tastings with surprises, find out that in this tasting you will discover a surprise wine from a very well-known Italian winemaker. Which you may have heard about, but I won't reveal the secret until the day of the event.

The wines chosen for this tasting are:
  • Tamellini, Soave 2021
  • Tamellini, Le Bine de Costiola Soave 2020
  • Tenuta Luisa Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso 2019
  • Tenuta Luisa Cabernet Franc 2019
  • surprise wine created by a well-known Italian winemaker
The event is organized by Winesday and the National Museum of Maps and Old Books, in partnership with Casa del Pan, through which the museum promotes its own heritage to the general public. The aim of the event is to bring to the public's attention the old maps and to combine the story of the places with today's wines.
