Include a wine tasting at the Christmas party this year

The end of the year brings a period of introspection, of analysis of how the current year was from all points of view. At the same time, it brings plans for the year to come, as well as a relaxed moment, a well-deserved break that you will spend with family, friends, colleagues.

Since the year cannot end without celebrating with your loved ones, we suggest you include a unique moment at the Christmas party that you are going to have with your office colleagues and, why not, with your friends: a wine tasting.

Winesday explains the flavors of wine in simple, accessible words for everyone and takes your passion for wine to the next level.

Reasons to add a wine tasting organized by Winesday to your party:
  • you add a savory element to the party (wine tastings can also be accompanied by cheese platters and other delicacies)
  • you discover your taste and learn new things about your preferences (taste and smell)
  • you discover the story of wine, the wine regions from which the wine comes from and those who produces it
  • you have the opportunity to discover Romanian or international wines
  • you have the opportunity to try something new with your colleagues & friends
  • the wine tasting can be a unique experience even for those who do not drink wine or alcohol in general if they are open to learning the story of wines and aromas.

So, if you want to have a unique experience with friends or at the end-of-year party with office colleagues, include a wine tasting in the program.

Winesday organizes themed wine tastings on request. These are aimed at those who want to bring an extra flavor to a party (but also to a team building, a conference, a board meeting, a workshop, a networking session). Tastings can be organized in Bucharest or in other places in Romania, in a restaurant, a hotel, at your office or in unique locations such as a Museum, for example. The minimum number of participants starts from 10 people, and the maximum number can be established depending on the chosen theme and the place where the tasting will take place.

We leave below some images from various corporate and private wine tastings organized by Winesday and below you have some examples of tasting themes to inspire you:

  • Wine Tour of Romania: presentation of emblematic wines of Romania from different wine regions across the country. Bonus: each participant can receive the Wine Map of Romania in print format.
  • Red Blends of Romania/ White Blends of Romania: tasting of Romanian red/white blends that brings together wines representative of Romania.
  • A region or vineyard in Romania: we choose a wine region in Romania and a few representative wines that we present during a wine tasting
  • A type of grape (Romanian variety or international variety). In the case of international varieties, the wines can be Romanian or international
  • Sparkling wine tasting: champagne, cava, prosecco, sparkling wine made in different corners of the world
  • Blind tasting: at first the bottle labels will be hidden and as we discover each wine separately, we reveal what wine it is.
  • Wine tasting at the Maps Museum: we pair wine with a country or region on the map and tell the story of the map and the wine.
  • Wine tasting accompanied by cheeses and/or meat specialties
  • Wine tasting and "zacuscă" (vegetable spread)
