Țelna Winery draws its sap from the Alba Iulia Vineyard, one of the oldest Transylvanian vineyards. Sard, Telna, Cricau and Ighiu form the "heart of the vineyard".
The vineyard has a privileged geographical position, at high altitude, over 600 m, sheltered from winds, cold currents or mists, with a mild climate and long autumns that leave the grapes to rest to ripen leisurely.
The entire winemaking process is led by a team of Italian oenologists and specialists.
Excavated 20-25 meters below the hill that guards the mansion, in 1784, the cellar of Telna is unique in the region. Having the shape of the "U" letter, it is not less than 150 meters long and 6 wide. Here, the temperature (10-11°C) and humidity (98-100%) are constant throughout the year thanks to the noble mold and natural ventilation.
Țelna Winery organizes tours according to the following schedule:
• Monday - Saturday: 9:00 - 18:00
• The last tour of the winery starts at 4.30 pm.
• The winery tour without tasting lasts 20 minutes.
• The wine tasting tour with 4 wine tastings lasts 60 minutes.
• On Saturday, both the winery tour and the tastings are made with prior appointment, at least 24 hours before the visit.
• During the week, from Monday to Friday, the winery tour without wine tasting does not require an appointment, and the one with wine tasting requires an appointment at least 24 hours in advance.

Located in Dobrogea, on the banks of the Danube, between the Cochirleni and Rasova villages, the Domaine DUMETRIER complex includes a vineyard, a wine cellar, as well as a hotel, a spa, a restaurant and a farm that will be the supplier for the restaurant. The hotel will also offer a bar and a conference room, while the spa will have two saunas, two massage rooms, a Turkish bath, an indoor and an outdoor pool.
In this harmonious and sustainable universe, we want to offer our guests a unique experience that brings together wine, gastronomy, architecture, nature, people and culture.
We paid special attention to the architecture of the entire site, so that the winery and the rest of the two hectares’ complex integrate naturally into the Danube landscape.
The Domaine DUMETRIER vineyard is located 7 km away from the winery, near the Danube banks, covering 2 hills on an area of 73 ha. It was planted in 2011 protecting the characteristics of the chosen terroir.
In this balanced, ecological environment, we also integrated rarely planted varieties in Romania such as Malbec, Mourvèdre and Semillon. Classic varieties such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, Merlot, Cabernet sauvignon, Syrah and a very rare but known Romanian variety Negru de Drăgășani are also present.
We want the vine to transmit to the grape and wine composition the characteristics of the terroir whose maximum components have been protected. Our grapes are harvested manually, are ecological and we apply a minimum of controlled treatments by daily checking the vineyard and the weather conditions.
Each Domaine DUMETRIER wine expresses the purity of the variety, the genuineness of the fruit, the expression of the terroir and goes through a rigorous internal selection.
The construction of the winery will be completed at the end of 2022, while the hotel, restaurant and spa will open their doors to welcome guests at the end of 2024.

Crama DeMatei means a unique terroir that stretches over 80 hectares around the two hills, Tegăneanu and Zorilor, on which grows a vine that is over 40 years old. It's a terroir that demands respect, craftsmanship and painstakingness to express itself through large wines with very good ageing potential, which has been proven by every edition of Prince Matthew wine since 1998.
Then it means the skillful hand of the man who cares for and preserves the vine and who knows how to choose and capitalize on each bunch. I understood, however, that in order to bring out the best in our terroir, tradition must go hand in hand with technology for greater precision in the winemaking process.
It is from this fine balance between man, nature and technology that the wines of the Prince Matei Domains are born and grown.
Number de hectars: 100 hectares
Wine bottled annualy: 200.000 litri
Types of grapes: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Fetească Neagră, Fetească Albă, Fetească Regală. În 2021 au fost plantate soiuri noi, printre care Tămâioasă Românească, Cabernet Franc și Petit Verdot.
Wine Brands: Prince Matei, Petit Matei, Domeniile Prince Matei, Domeniile Prince Matei Bistrot, Nasty.
Prince Matei
Prince Matei, a terroir wine, has its roots on the austere terraces of two hills: Tegăneanu and Zorilor. Over 40 years old vineyards, clay, gravel, and limestone create the complex personality, intensity, and finesse of this wine. Its history of over 20 years allows us to confidently appreciate its evolution over time. Even if the wine can be enjoyed after simple aeration in the glass, we recommend decantation of 20-30 minutes for a superior experience.
Petit Matei
Petit Matei, like the well-known Prince Matei, is also the product of the exceptional terroir from the Zorilor and Tegăneanu hills. Seductive from its first years, it is a supple and velvety wine, with fresh, intense, and juicy fruit aromas. Sensational even from the first moments after opening, you can aerate it in a decanter for 20-30 minutes for a superior experience
Domeniile Prince Matei
The Prince Matei Domains wine range represents a new generation of wines from Dealu Mare, one of the most celebrated Romanian wine regions. Modern and elegant, each wine can be appreciated alone or paired with food for a gastronomic experience. Feteasca Neagra grapes are part of each blend, even vinified in white!
Domeniile Prince Matei Bistrot
There are not many more graceful moments than those spent at the restaurant, when delicious dishes, along with the right wine, offer experiences that nourish the body and the soul.
Nasty
The terroir and craftsmanship of Dealu Mare meet the strong personality of a winner, Ilie Năstase. The result is an expressive wine for the champions.

The story of DRADARA has its roots in the land that lies quietly on Dealul Mocrii.
The wine from Mocrea barrels was enjoyed by the nobles of the past, the important guests of the prince of Transylvania and the barons of the Vienna Court, because here, just like today, good and honest wine was found.
Dradara vineyard stretches over 19.65 hectares of volcanic soil, on the coast of Mocrii Hill, the Miniş-Măderat Vineyard, which watches over and listens to the secret of white, red and rosé wines.
Here, the sun is in no hurry and rises an hour later: thus, the vines and the grapes enjoy a slow and quiet ripening.
Planned varieties: Fetească Neagra, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvginon, Sauvignon Blanc, Fetească Regală, Muscat Ottonel, Palava

GRAMMA is a powerful concept designed to open a new direction in wine communication: that of intelligent conversation and flawless language free from the impact of liquor, because the correct and harmonious expression always denotes physical and mental balance.
The story of the Gramma winery begins in 1992 with the inheritance by the Olteanu family of an area of land planted with vines near Iasi.
We started in 2007, with 60 ha of vines over 30 years old and with only 3 varieties of grapes: Aligoté, Fetească Regală and Fetească Albă. For the construction of the winery and its endowment with modern winemaking equipment, they accessed SAPARD funds, but also a loan from the bank and the rest from their own funds. A total of 1.9 million euros.
In the spring of 2010 Gramma came on the market, attacking the HoReCa segment, with the first 3 white wines from the previous year's harvest: Aligoté (dry), Fetească

The vineyard of Catleya is located in Corcova, a small village located in the Oltenia region of Romania. Corcova has a rich history. It was during the Belle Époque period in Paris that Prince Antoine Bibesco, Marcel Proust and their friends were tasting the Corcova wines, while evoking the pear flowers of this mythical place.
However the aura of Corcova is present in his writings and Bibesco was the inspiration of one of the main characters in the novel In search of the lost time. In Marcel Proust’s renowned masterpiece, the Catleya orchid is a symbol of love.
Since 2007, four French wine enthusiasts fell in love with Corcova and its Proustian aura and chose this symbol to represent the vineyard replanted on the historic site of Bibesco’s domain, and Catleya was born.
The following grape varieties are planted at Catleya: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Fetească Neagra, Fetească Regală, Fetească Albă.
