3 years of Winesday App
On March 1st 2025, the Winesday App mobile application turns 3 years old.
The first year was about launching, the second about consolidation and starting with the third it is about growth and innovation.
In the first 3 years of existence, Winesday App was downloaded (iOS & Android) by wine enthusiasts interested in news from the world of wine. We are talking about a niche application that is growing slowly but well stablished in the market. Thank you to everyone who believed in the application and downloaded it, as well as to the companies in the world of wine that chose to be present in it.
The application is a tourism and wine application and has put on the map of Romania: 55 wineries, 17 accommodation units, 23 restaurants, 30 wine shops, 18 wine bars, 43 wine event organizers and 4 wine course organizers (I will call them all "suppliers" in the following). There is still a lot of work to do to include these suppliers, but every day we work to enrich the application's portfolio and bring users new places where they can enjoy wine, wine events, special offers (on wine or events), as well as information, inspiration and education related to wine in articles.
The greatest satisfaction we have is that when we meet with wine lovers at various fairs or events and open the discussion about the application, most of them show us that they already have the application on their phone. It is a feeling of deep joy that we have when we discover that the application is already known and used.
The first 3 years of the application's existence have validated the concept, there have been over 2500 events added in 16 categories – developed following feedback received from users, over 300 articles published, as well as over 190 suppliers in all categories.

New features in 2024
Because we have noticed an increase in web searches, in the last year we have developed the website attached to the application, www.winesdayapp.ro which is currently up to date. Practically most of the information included in the application also appears on the site, but you will not find here all the functionalities available in the app (for example, you will not find the Special Offers module, you cannot follow certain accounts of wineries, restaurants, wine bars, etc.).
The application remains the differentiating element, here users are notified whenever a new article is published and here they can also be up to date with new Events and Offers published by different providers.
Also as a novelty brought to the app and the website attached to it, in 2024 we developed the "Routes" section in which we created several themed routes such as the Route of Wine Bars and Wine Shops in Bucharest, the Route of Romanian Grape Varieties - Negru de Drăgășani or the Route of Travels in Dealu Mare. This section is still developing and we are very curious about the public's feedback on this.

What's next
