Autumn has already arrived so it's time to start the wine tastings of the most colorful time of the year. As you've become accustomed, I'm back with a wine tasting from the Winesday Specials series every month and the first one is on October 5th.
Together with Marius Tudosiei, we set up the first event of this autumn: "Wine & Food Tour of Romania". I come with the wine suggestions, he comes with some delicious dishes.
Thus, on October 5, 2022 at 6:30 p.m., I am waiting for you at Băcănia Veche Delicatese & Grădină (Foișor, in the Secret Garden) to try 5 wines from 5 wine regions of Romania as well as Romanian dishes made with ingredients from local producers.
For this tasting I chose the date of October 5th to be around the "National Day of Romanian Gastronomy and Wine" which takes place from 2019 onwards on the first Sunday of October (this year it is celebrated on October 2nd). In this way, I welcome the initiative of Cezar Ioan (Vinul.ro), Cosmin Dragomir (Gastroart.ro) and Chef Nico Lontras and we are also taking this concept forward, a concept that deserves to be taken over and celebrated in as many locations as possible in Romania.
As Băcănia Veche has a tradition of bringing products from local Romanian producers to the public's attention, I think it is the most suitable location to combine Romanian wine with delicious dishes, so I'm waiting for you on October 5th for the tasting!

18:30 – 19:00 arrival of participants
19:00 – 21:00 tasting of 5 wines accompanied by food (appetizer + main course)
21:00 – 21:30 networking
Price: 230* lei/person
*Those who have participated in at least 4 Winesday Specials tastings have a special rate for each tasting starting with the fifth - this time they receive a 5% discount applicable to the above rate
