About
The WSET Level 2 in Wines course is ideal for anyone looking to advance their wine knowledge in an informative and structured manner.
It is designed both for wine enthusiasts who want to deepen their understanding of wine varieties and global viticulture, as well as for those who want to enter or are already active in the wine and hospitality industry, where a good knowledge of wine culture is mandatory.
During the three days of the course we taste at least 42 international wines.
The diploma is issued by the WSET London school and is internationally recognised.
Teaching language: English.

How to describe a wine using WSET level 2 Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine® (SAT)
What are the factors that influence winemaking styles
Elements of wine production
The main varieties of white wine and their characteristics
The main varieties of red wine and their characteristics
Top wine producing regions and the main styles of wine they produce: France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, USA, Argentina, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa
Production of sparkling wines, sweet wines and fortified wines
How to decode and understand labels
How to store and serve wine
How to pair wine with different dishes
Price: 550 euro
We draw your attention to the fact that re-examination and failure to appear for the exam attract additional costs.
Re-examination fee: €130
Exam failure fee: 150 lei
The registration becomes final after the invoice is issued and the money is collected. Payment can be made by bank transfer or with a bank card.

Complete Study Guide (with maps, sample questions, tasting notes)
Laminated tasting card.
Support materials
The part of training and education on the subjects dedicated to wine
The opportunity to taste at least 42 wines
Examination fees
Water to refresh the palate
Courier costs (for the study package and for the diploma)
Exam
To qualify, students must successfully pass a 50-question multiple-choice exam. A percentage of 55% is required to pass the exam. An individual study program of at least 12 hours is recommended in addition to attending the course. Students are strongly advised to complete this individual study time in preparation for the course. All participants who pass the exam will receive a WSET diploma and badge.
Enrollment conditions
You must be 18 years of age at the start of the course. To participate in the WSET Level 2 course it is not necessary to complete the WSET Level 1 course.
The course takes place in Oradea. The exact location will be announced directly to those who sign up.
