At CarpatBike, we are convinced that we have a beautiful country with dreamlike landscapes and authentic places, with villages where people keep traditions and pass them on.

In our commitment to promote rural tourism, the natural and cultural values, customs and local products in our area, we are always looking for special locations where we can discover, in peace, by bike, the beautiful Romanian village. That's how we find Bertea village, Andreea family and their restored traditional houses.

Let's remember old traditions and authentic tastes, surrounded by nature!
1h30 minutes from Bucharest.

We start the weekend with two beautiful bike trails in the Subcarpathian area, at the foot of the Grohotiș Mountains, and if we're lucky we'll also enjoy a stretching session, especially tailored to our active weekend activities. Of course, we will not forget to taste some wines from the Dealu Mare region, to enjoy the local gastronomy and simple recipes with great taste created by the housewives of Bertea village.

In 2 days we will combine the bike experience🚴, the local gastronomy, the wines of Dealu Mare🍷, in a special natural place, contemplating the beauty of nature and the tranquility of the place: CALM, La sat.
Join us in this first edition of CALM La sat experience, at the foot of the Grohotiș Mountains, in the Subcarpathian area, in the village of Bertea from Prahova county.

Stretched along the valley of the Vărbilau river, its charm is also given by the numerous pedestrian walkways that connect the houses separated by the river banks. The commune is bordered to the north by the Grohotis Mountains with the peak of Sf.Ilie (1588m) from which the lower peak of Nebunul emerges to the southeast, and to the southwest the peak of Rădila and the peak of Clăbucet-Păltineț. At the contact with the Subcarpathians, the heights drop to 900-1000m in the summit of Bertii and the peak of Măciuca (902m), where we hope to reach with the bikes.

WHAT'S INCLUDED:
• 2 nights accommodation B&B in the traditional houses La Sat from Bertea village

NOT INCLUDED:
• supplement for single room
• alcoholic beverages or other beverages not included in the program
• transport of participants (can be organized on request for at least 6 people)
• MTB or EMTB bike rental

YOUR CONTRIBUTION: 1595 RON/pp

* The program is organized for a group of minimum 6 people
* Children benefit from a reduced rate depending on age and accommodation options
* A 5% discount is granted if you bring a second person
* People who do not participate in the biking session but do the rest of the activities and will benefit from a reduced rate.
* The bike routes are suitable for medium level, that is around 30-40 km of mtb trails with minimum 500 m ascent.
