Dear friends,
Join us for two active days of cycling in the beautiful Dealu Mare winelands! This active bike tour is the perfect opportunity to escape the city and experience a challenging weekend in the outdoors! During the Romanian gastronomy and wine weekend, we are preparing 2 days of bicycle adventure on the wine road from Dealu Mare:
MUST CHALLENGE RIDE.
Saturday, SEP 30: 70 km with 1650 m elevation gain
Sunday, Oct 1: 55 km with 750 m elevation gain
Saturday, October 1st, we meet at 09.30 right at Casa Timis in Chitorani.
One by one we put our backpacks, adjust our bikes, warm up and...hit the road. It will be quite long, 70 km with 1650 m difference in level, so it will be challenging. It is for passionate riders, on hills, on spectacular paths, with vineyards around us.
The wineries will be welcoming us with must and a bit of wine, if you like. We will taste a little and move on, because the route requires an alert tempo. We can also taste the grapes on the way. Yummm!!! We will stop on our route either at Domeniul Aristitei, Gramofon Wine, Davino, Velvet winery, Licorna, Mierla Alba or Lacerta wineries.
We will spend the night either at Merei or Pietroasele, in 2 wonderful locations and finish the evening with dinner and a glass of wine.
The next day is for recovery, we return on an easier route, back to Chitorani.
At sunset, we say goodbye to the sunny vineyards where the grapes catch the last rays of the sun this autumn.

Cost of the MUST Challenge RIDE adventure: 489 RON/pers
Please note this does not include accommodation and dinner in Pietroasele. For reservations, please contact us ASAP.
For those who are not used to long routes and higher elevation, we recommend traveling the route with electric bicycles. You can also rent from us, but please let us know in advance.
